Cookie Policy
Effective date: August 1, 2026
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and SDKs. They help websites function, remember preferences, and — with consent — measure and improve marketing.
2. How Consent Works
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and US state privacy laws (including CCPA/CPRA notice and choice for certain advertising uses), we ask for your preference before setting non-essential cookies.
Essential cookies load by default. Analytics and marketing cookies load only after you click “Accept all”, enable those categories, or otherwise opt in via the banner. You can change your mind later by clearing site cookies or revisiting after deleting the `vynelixai_consent` cookie.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential: required for security (e.g. session/CSRF-related cookies for admin login), load balancing, theme preference, and storing your cookie consent choice. These cannot be disabled via the banner.
Analytics (optional): help us understand aggregated site usage (e.g. Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity) so we can improve content and performance. IP anonymization is enabled where supported.
Marketing / advertising (optional): used for conversion measurement and remarketing (e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag). These may constitute “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under CCPA/CPRA when used for that purpose.
4. Cookie Details (representative)
`vynelixai_consent` — essential — stores your analytics/marketing preferences for up to 12 months.
NextAuth / session cookies (admin only) — essential — secure, HTTP-only authentication for CMS access.
Theme preference — essential/preference — remembers light or dark mode.
GA/GTM/Clarity/Ads/LinkedIn cookies — analytics or marketing — set only after consent; retention varies by provider.
5. Managing Cookies
Use the on-site cookie banner choices (Accept all / Essential only / Save choices). You can also control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may break login or security features.
US residents may also email privacy requests as described in our Privacy Policy (subject line “CCPA Request”).
6. Third-Party Cookies
Third-party providers process data under their own privacy policies when you consent to analytics/marketing. Review Google, Microsoft, and LinkedIn privacy documentation for details on their cookies and retention.
7. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated accordingly.
